Menno’s Place - The most beautiful spot
in the world
Have you ever been some place but were unable to describe
just how beautiful it is?
My friend Menno, a good Dutchman, has this villa overlooking the
Slovenia coastline, and to be there, to look at the stunning view, is
overwhelming - and you just can’t sell it. How does an estate agent, or
local tourist board, describe an enchantment of salt farms ‘striking
pink’ at sunset, and these form the magnificent, all-day view of a
relatively small inlet coming in from the Adriatic Sea, with Croatia the
immediate background? Have I sold it to you yet? Maybe, maybe not.
Seeing is believing.
Waking up at 4.30am, cranking up the time-lapse machine then
switching it off at 9pm - that’s over 6,000 photographs - this film
intends best capturing the essence, charm and warmth of what may be
said is the most beautiful spot anyone may visit in this lifetime.
PLEASE NOTE: It’s a large video file, best to
watch on a wi-fi connection.
